Fire Qilin Ceramic Bowl

Texture & Material
A vessel of forged fire—its luminous iron-red glaze burns brightest at the rim, fading to volcanic black at the base. Through this gradient, dendritic copper veins climb like lightning strikes, their density increasing toward the top as if the bowl itself is transmuting from earth to energy.

The Alchemy of Creation
Fired at 1320°C in reduction, copper oxide (CuO) precipitates into these golden dendritic formations, while iron (Fe₂O₃) achieves its livid crimson through oxygen-starved chemistry. The glaze’s boron content (B₂O₃) ensures molten fluidity for these crystalline branches to self-assemble.

Roasted oolong and black tea
Dark chocolate and small dessert.
