Two golden leaves formed from molten ceramic glaze sink gently into a deep black Tenmoku glaze, like a token bestowed by the earth to humankind. The flowing shapes unite the forms of nature with the spirit of civilization, their subtle shimmer adding life to the smooth, dark surface.

The Alchemy of Creation
Using iron-rich clay and black glaze, the cup is fired at 1300°C in reduction. High-temperature firing fuses the glaze, while selective low-temperature gilding adds shimmering highlights, layering depth onto the black surface. The result is a meditative interplay of shadow, light, and natural motifs.
