The Alchemy of Creation
Fired at 1310°C in reduction, iron oxide (Fe₂O₃) forms magnetite (Fe₃O₄) droplets, while manganese (MnO₂) lends the violet sheen to their trailing streaks. The glaze’s high silica content ensures each "celestial event" remains crisply defined.
